Ed Pol 320 is 2/3 lecture (2 X 50-minute lectures) and 1/3 discussion section (1 X 50-minute discussion). I'm not sure if you would categorize a discussion section as a tutorial or practical (it's definitely not a lab). A lecture has up to 50 students in it, and the discussion sections have 25 students and encourage discussion of issues being considered in the lectures.
Regarding grading, I don't yet have the syllabus for Fall 2024, but looking at past syllabi, it looks like about 90% is papers and various other assignments and 10% attendance/participation. There are not usually exams and there haven't been quizzes in past iterations of this course, but I can't guarantee what the grading breakdown will be in Fall. You could reach out to the instructor of your course and ask | GEN2004 | Green Communities in Action: Climate, Species, Crisis | 4.00 |
